For those of you wanting to earn the Cycling Merit Badge… please complete requirement #1 in the Cycling Merit Badge Workbook and bring it to next Monday’s Troop Meeting. Also, look over the weekends in May and write down the times and dates that would work best for you on a Saturday/Sunday. Remember we have: · 2 - 10 mile bike rides (about 1 ½ hours) · 2 - 15 mile bike rides (about 2 hours) · 2 - 25 mile bike rides (about 2 ½ to 3 hours) and · 1 - 50 mile bike ride (about 6 to 7 hours) As the temperature begins to get warmer… early morning or late afternoon rides might workout best.
